As a non-attorney special education advocate in the greater Cincinnati area, I empower parents and students to navigate the complexities of the IEP process within the public school system to achieve better outcomes for their students with special needs. With a passion for ensuring equitable access to education, I work closely with families to understand their rights, develop effective IEPs, and foster collaboration with school staff. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
At Be Their Voice Advocacy, we believe that every child is capable of learning and thriving in their educational environment, and that parent participation plays a vital role in achieving that. True participation exists when parents can approach their child's special education with confidence and clarity.

Understanding the IEP process is crucial for parents to advocate effectively for their children. We provide guidance and support, ensuring that parents are informed and empowered to participate meaningfully in their child's education. Our approach is rooted in collaboration, helping families work alongside educators to create a tailored educational plan that reflects their child’s needs and aspirations.
Together, we can build a supportive framework that prioritizes your child’s growth and development, advocating for a future where every child can reach their full potential.

Presuming Competence
We firmly embrace the principle of the least dangerous assumption-presuming competence. Every child, regardless of their challenges, has unique strengths and abilities, and should be provided the opportunity to make meaningful progress on their educational goals.
Championing Inclusion
Inclusion is not just a goal; it is a fundamental right. We advocate for educational settings where children with special needs can learn alongside their peers, fostering a sense of belonging and community. When children are included, they benefit socially, emotionally, and academically.

Feeling overwhelmed by your upcoming IEP meeting? Drowning in acronyms and special education jargon? Let us work with you to prepare you for your meeting and support you through it!
Welcome! I’m Jennifer, a dedicated non-attorney special education advocate and proud mom of two wonderful children: a neurotypical daughter and an autistic son. My journey into advocacy began with my personal experiences navigating the public school system for my son. After years of challenges and triumphs, I felt a calling to turn my passion into a career. I hold a B.S. in Individual & Family Development from the University of Kentucky and have completed Special Education Advocacy Training through COPAA (Council of Parents, Attorneys, & Advocates).
My mission is to empower parents as they navigate the often complex landscape of special education. I believe that every parent has a crucial role in their child's IEP team, and I am here to provide guidance, support, and resources to help you advocate effectively for your child's needs. Together, we can work towards ensuring every child receives the education and support they deserve.
I understand that each student's situation and needs are unique to them. I offer a FREE, 30 minute initial consultation to learn how I can help. Contact me today!
